Spring Greens with Sesame Ginger Beef and Sushi Rice

Delicious, healthy and simple to make. I could eat this every night of the week.

Ingredients

Sushi rice, prepare as per packet instructions & season as instructed with sushi seasoning (from the supermarket)

Oil for frying (I use grapeseed)

3cm grated fresh ginger

3 sliced fresh red chillies

400g eye fillet steak thinly sliced

2 Tbsp tamari

2 Tbsp mirin

2 Bunches of asian greens

3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

2 Tbsp sesame oil

Toasted sesame seeds/gomasio/seaweed sprinkle* to serve

*Buy this at Asian grocers or health food stores. A pantry must-have!

Instructions

Heat oil in a wok or frypan and stir fry ginger, chilli and beef. Add tamari and mirin and fry until beef is cooked through.

Stir fry greens with sesame oil and garlic.

Serve with sushi rice and sprinkle sesame seeds or seaweed sprinkle.
